Eye patients

It will be useful to bring along old reports of eye tests and surgeries from other doctors or opticians.

Please bring along the spectacles that your child normally uses.

For the first visit, a dilated eye examination (to check the inside of the eye) may be required. The eye drops used to dilate his/her pupils may lead to near vision blurring as well as some light sensitivity. These effects may last from half a day to a day. It is best to bring along sunglasses for use after the clinic visit.

It will be useful to bring along a list of medications your child is currently on, as well as baby health book, old reports of tests and surgeries from other doctors.
